Best photos from Norwegian Princess Märtha Louise’s wedding

The Norwegian king’s eldest child Princess Märtha Louise married Durek Levett, an American self-professed shaman in the picturesque small town of Geiranger.

Social media influencers, reality stars and TV personalities were among the guests at what was billed as Norway’s wedding of the year.
The King’s eldest child, Princess Märtha Louise, and Durek Verrett, who claims to be a sixth-generation shaman from California, tied the knot in the small town of Geiranger, one of Norway’s major tourist attractions.
The ceremony took place on Saturday, following three days of festivities. The 87-year-old King Harald attended his daughter’s wedding together with Queen Sonja and other members of the Norwegian royal house.
Crown Princess Victoria and her husband Prince Daniel represented the Swedish royal house together with her brother, Prince Carl Philip, and his wife Princess Sofia. No other European royals attended the wedding.
In Norway, Verrett has received widespread criticism, with many labelling him a conman and a conspiracy theorist for his ‘alternative medicine’ practices.
The television guru has previously stated that he feels that racism is to play in much of the controversy surrounding the couple’s relationship.
The Norwegian princess has also attracted criticism over the decades for her involvement in alternative medicine and spirituality practices, including when in 2007 she announced that she is clairvoyant and wants to help people communicate with angels.
